An invitation to advertise on talkingturkey.com
If I had a dollar for every itinerary I've developed for a friend, or friend of a friend, or featured-honeymooners-in-a-popular-travel-magazine, I'd be rich. Although the questions usually cover the same concerns - -- Where should I go? (Everywhere, if you have time), Is Cappadocia really so special? (Yes). How do I get from A to B to C? (Fly, drive, take a bus), How long will it all take? (Longer than you think) - -- everyone's wants and needs are undeniably unique.
I take all of this very seriously; this is no doubt the reason for the feedback I get, from "Don't tell my wife I said this, but this trip far surpassed our honeymoon," to "We never would have experienced half the things we did without your advice," to "That was the best trip ever".
So I've decided to go public. With the re-launch of my already successful website www.talkingturkey.com, readers of Frommer's Turkey and Turcophiles alike will have access to focused, time-saving and user friendly information aimed at helping anybody plan the trip of a lifetime.
From the spiciest new designer hotels to my favorite eats, www.talkingturkey.com will provide travelers with the expert advice they really want and need. And if they can't find it on my pages, I am providing, free of charge, responses to email queries, including itinerary planning advice.
As people, places and resources that I have already recommended in both the Frommer's Turkey guide and on my website (and in some cases, in the Istanbul section of Zagat's Europe's Best Restaurants, which I also write), I am offering you the opportunity to advertise on the site. Readers of Frommer's Turkey will be tuning in to this web site for personalized information, so act fast.
Please note that I will never, ever take money in exchange for a listing, an ethic that guarantees the purity of the information I provide.
Thanks, and happy travels!
